Moved by the plight of this abandoned soul, Dobson didn’t hesitate. He offered food and comfort while waiting for the owner to return, but as hours passed, it became painfully clear—the callous owner had callously left the dog behind.

Summoning the dog warden was Dobson’s next move, ensuring the distressed pup wouldn’t be left alone to fend for itself. As he observed the dog’s hopeful yet desolate eyes, Dobson sensed the depth of abandonment that pierced the canine’s heart. It was a cruel mystery to the dog—why they were forsaken by those they loved.
“It was heartbreaking to witness his distress. He was such a wonderful and friendly dog,” shared Dobson, visibly shaken. “I can’t fathom why someone would abandon an innocent soul like that. Animals deserve better than this.”
Thankfully, Nottinghamshire and Yorkshire Boxer Rescue stepped in to offer solace and care for the boxer, affectionately named Max.
